You are so lucky to have a lap all to yourself! We have one indoor cat, Tiger Lily, who likes to sprawl on her dad's lap for the entire evening if he will let her. I have no idea why so many of our cats won't sit on my lap. I do have a lap! (did not used to when I was heavier).
For other folks reading this, (kitties and doggies are people) my blog has stories and information helpful for cat caretakers everywhere.
